Coastline Clinic of Destin was founded by board-certified physicians who live and work in the Florida Panhandle, bringing over 48 years of combined experience in emergency and acute care medicine to the Destin community.
After years of caring for patients in busy emergency departments, our physicians recognized a clear need for a better option. Many patients were visiting the ER for conditions that could be safely treated in a clinic setting — often facing long wait times, high costs, and unnecessary stress.
Coastline Clinic was created to provide accessible, Physician-led care for minor illnesses, injuries, and wellness services, giving patients a trusted alternative when they don’t need the emergency room but still want experienced medical providers.
Meet Our Providers
Our team is made up of experienced Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers dedicated to serving the Emerald Coast community.
Dr. Fenton is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician and Co-founder of Coastline Clinic of Destin.
After serving as a physician in Air Force Special Operations and working as a flight doctor, he now specializes in hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and performance-based medicine — delivering direct, transparent care without insurance barriers.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find him golfing, flying, coaching and participating in CrossFit, teaching local fire and EMS agencies, and enjoying coastal life in Destin with his fiancée.
Dr. Edmond Fenton, DO
Dr. Jose Reyes, MD
Dr. Jose Reyes is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a decade of clinical experience. He completed his residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Reyes earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and worked in the engineering field for three years, bringing a strong analytical foundation to his medical practice.
For the past ten years, he has served communities along the Gulf Coast, working in multiple emergency departments and caring for a broad spectrum of patients.
Dr. Reyes has a growing interest in functional medicine, wellness, and longevity, with a passion for integrating evidence-based approaches that support long-term health.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. Dr. Reyes has been happily married to his wife, Cecilia, for 19 years, and together they are raising their 4 daughters.
Dr. Amy Maule, MD
Dr. Amy Maule is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician and Co-founder of Coastline Clinic of Destin. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at University of Iowa Health Care. After returning to the Gulf Coast, she has spent the past 12 years practicing emergency medicine and caring for patients throughout the community.
Through her experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Maule developed a passion for efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Frustrated by the barriers often created by traditional healthcare systems, she co-founded Coastline Clinic of Destin to provide accessible, transparent, and high-quality care without unnecessary complications.
Outside of work, Dr. Maule enjoys spending time with her husband, their young son, and their rescue pup. She loves golf, beach days, live music, and being actively involved in the Gulf Coast community she proudly serves.
Donald Thomas, PA
Donald Thomas, PA-C, is a Destin born-and-raised Physician Assistant specializing in acute care, orthopedics, sports injuries, and regenerative medicine. With more than 20 years of experience working alongside some of Nashville’s top orthopedic surgeons, he brings extensive experience in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on prevention, recovery, and helping patients return to the activities they love.
Donald’s clinical interests include sports medicine, overuse injuries, orthopedic evaluations and treatment, PRP injections for joints and tendons, post-injury rehabilitation coordination, and injury prevention planning. He is passionate about combining evidence-based medicine with practical, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s lifestyle and goals.
At Coastline Clinic of Destin, Donald provides same- and next-day care for acute injuries and illnesses, joint injections, splinting and bracing, wound care, imaging orders, specialist referrals, preventive screenings, and annual physicals. Patients appreciate his approachable personality, clear communication, and commitment to shared decision-making throughout their care.
As a lifelong local, Donald understands the active Gulf Coast lifestyle and enjoys helping patients stay healthy, active, and doing what they love most.
